Viewing SOG Mediasite Presentations on Windows 10
- How do I know if what I'm trying to view is a Mediasite presentation?
The website address (URL) begins with http://uncsog.mediasite.mcnc.org - I get an error message that the presentation cannot be played.
To view the presentation, please use Internet Explorer. Other Internet browsers (i.e. Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge) do not support Silverlight, on which Mediasite is based. - To use Internet Explorer:
Confirm that you are using Internet Explorer and not Microsoft Edge. Windows 10 often defaults to Edge, and the icon is almost identical to Internet Explorer. Find Internet Explorer in the programs, open it, and paste the link to the presentation in the address bar.
