Create either a new post or page.

Under the publish setting box on the right-hand sidebar, you should see an option called Visibility. Click edit next to it, then click the Password protected option. Now create the password that you want.

Lastly, click publish whenever you are ready to publish the page. The user will only be able to access this page if they know the password.
